Why do we need nutrients now more than ever?

In our modern and accelerated world, we have less and less time pay to attention to our healthy, adequate and balanced nutrition. Due to the technicaldevelopment, our nutrition  reached a point where healthy eating is overshadowed. Consequently, we have more problems with our health. Our life has accelerated, there are more and more preservatives in our foods,  stress is present every day and we live in a more and more polluted environment. On the other hand, the vegetables and fruits do not contain many minerals and vitamins like decades ago.

We try to treat more and more health problems with medicine.  Unfortunately it is not the proper way…

If most of the diseases is caused by nutrient deficiency, why is logical to treat them with synthetic medicine?

Have we ever felt in need of nutrients?

The answer is: "no". Unfortunately, we never feel the need of nutrients.

We ignore them, until we realise the symptomes. We do not feel the need of the nutrients that are essential for cell structure and cell function, which are responsible for optimal functioning of responsible organs: heart, blood vessels, liver and brain.

Natura6 has a broad spectrum of nutrients: amino acids, vitamins, minerals, fats, carbohydrates and it is rich in fibres.

Nutrients are essential for growth and maintenance of the body and for providing energy. Nutrients are used to build and repair tissues, regulate body processes and are converted to and used as energy. A poor diet can cause serious health problems. Our body needs the right nutrients to rebuild itself, clear out toxins and sustain basic function. Nutrients intake is necessary to prevent diseases, for a health balance and well-being.

There are essential and non-essential nutrients.

Non-essential nutrients are nutrients that your body can produce internally from food sources.

Essential nutrients, on the other hand,   cannot be produced, we must regularly choose food which contain them.

If you do not get enough  essential  and non-essential nutrients your body needs, you could increase the risk of many health problems.

Why do we need proteins?

Proteins are vital structural and working substances in all cells in the human body. Most  parts of our bodies are made from protein: hair, skin, blood, organs and muscles. They help to fix muscles, blood clot and improve your sight. Without proteins bones, skin, hair would not have the right structure. Proteins are building materials for growth and maintance of blood, muscle and skin. Proteins are part of hormones, regulators of fluid balance, transporters, antibodies, source of energy and glucose. Proteins are built up from chains of amino acids. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Our bodies cannot produce most amino acids (essential amino acids) so, we must get them from the foods we eat.

Why do we need amino acids?

Amino acids are at the basis of all life processes, as they are absolutely essential for every metabolic process.  They are the building blocks of protein. There are 20 different types of amino acids that can be combined to build a protein. Among their most important tasks are the optimal transport and optimal storage of all nutrients. The majority of diseases like obesity, high-cholesterol levels, diabetes, insomnia, erectile dysfunction or arthritis can essentially be traced back to metabolic disturbances. This also applies to hair loss and serious cases of wrinkle formation.

This is why it is important to act sooner rather than later to ensure that the essential amino acids are available for the body in sufficient quantities. Unfortunately, it cannot be guaranteed nowadays, due to the poor quality of food.

 Why do we need vitamins?

Vitamins are organic compounds that are necessary for the function and growth of the body, for cell and tissue regeneration and conservation of resistance against diseases. We must take them in from our food. They are essential for many of our metabolic processes, to release energy from nutrients, and in building and maintaining bones, teeth, skin, blood and many other vital body tissues.

 Why do we need minerals?

Minerals in our diet are essential for a variety of body functions. They are important for building strong bones and teeth, blood, skin, hair, nerve function, muscle and for metabolic processes such as those that turn the food we eat into energy. It means that minerals are needed for the body to work properly, for growth and development, and in general for maintaining normal health.

 Why do we need carbohydrates?

Carbohydrates are compounds that your body uses for energy. Carbohydrates are your body’s main source of energy. When you eat any type of carbohydrate, your digestive system will break it down into simple sugar, such as glucose. Glucose is  circulated in your blood to every cell in your body. Because carbohydrate-rich food usually has low  calory content, it can help us to maintain a healthy weight.

Why do we need fats?

Fats provide essential fatty acids (that we cannot produce  but need in small quantities), as well as energy. Fat is also  needed to carry and store essential fat-soluble vitamins, like vitamins A, D and is imprortant to their absorption.

 Why do we need fibres?

Fibres are only found in food that originate from plants. Fiber is the ingredient of plant food that our body does not break down during digestion. Because fiber is not digested, it does not provide us calories. Since we do not digest it, the fiber in food passes into the intestine and absorbs water. Fibre is an important part of a healthy diet. A diet rich in fibre has many health benefits. The main role of fibres is to keep the digestive system healthy. Fibre has also been proved to benefit diabetes, blood cholesterol level and weight control.
